Architect

We are currently looking to recruit an architect 

REQUIREMENTS

· Experience: Good working knowledge of AutoCAD software

· Qualifications – Certificate in Architect, or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Build Environment or equivalent

· GCSE Maths and English (Grade C and above)

DESIREABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Working knowledge of ArtiCAD
• Good understanding of timber frame construction methods

The successful candidate must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of;

Duties

• Identifying client requirements and incorporate these into the design
• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations
• Preparation of in-factory production drawings
• Liaising and Coordination with production and services teams
• Weekly team meetings
• Ordering of materials
• Up-dating of order schedules
• Checking of invoices

Skills

• Good communication skills
• Working as part of a team
• Ability to liaise with team leader and management
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Implement good house keeping
• Experience of following health and safety procedures
